The Friends of All Saints
An ancient and beautiful place
in need of some friends!
From Saxon Times,
the church was maintained through a system of patronage.
The Mediaeval rich 'sponsored' the church's ministry and the
maintenance of the fabric, in order to 'ease their way,
not in life but in death. The Mediaeval Guilds of 'All
Saints' and 'The Holy Trinity' managed the income and
focused public attention upon the building.
Past Friends, rich friends, poor friends, our
friends .........
ALL SAINTS' CHURCH, NEEDS FRIENDS,
not just those worship with us, but those who care about us;
who care about the building - the past, the present and the
future.
PLEASE,
please, if you would like to become 'a friend' to support
our church, contact us. There is no annual fee or an
expensive 'life-time' membership. Please give what you can,
when you can.
Friends
will receive regular information about our Restoration
Programme; special discounts on our merchandising and a
50% discount on all tickets for lectures, concerts,
exhibitions and other events.
