Baptism at All Saints
Baptism is the way in which someone becomes a Christian, when water is poured on their head in the name of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Anyone can be baptised, at any age.
Baptisms for children are often called christenings.
We freely offer baptism for children of the parish and to those with family connections.
Christenings are usually performed separately and can be on any day of the week, but especially on Saturdays and Sundays at 12 noon. They can also be carried out in the Sunday Mass if requested.
A baptism is a precious occasion and we try to make it as special as possible. A baptismal candle, certificate and a Book of Bible Stories are presented.
There is no fee for baptism but families are asked to make a donation.
